With beats to rattle your bones and vocals that shift your spine, VIDA's debut Ep 'Overthrow' seeks to undercut how wom*n are perceived, particularly by the male-gaze. The four track effort sits somewhere between the Techhouse and Pop worlds, a place VIDA has affectionately titled 'Hexpop' in honour of her Witchy foremothers.
